Fantastic. Loved the scallops and butternut squash risotto

Great food and ambiance. Top wait staff and friendly. I had the Pork Ozzo and it was delicious and tender. Great wine list too.

Good food and casual atmosphere. Great for a special occasion. Parking appeared to be limited.

The best place to eat in South Alabama. A little expensive, but well worth it. You can dress fancy or casual. Always A+ service. Highly recommended.

We heard great things about the wash house so we decided to go there for our ten year anniversary. I don’t want to be harsh because the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent, but the food was not at the standard that it should be. To be clear nothing we ordered was bad, but my expectations for this price point and reputation were much much higher. We started with the artichoke beignets and the complimentary bread. The bread was amazing, the beignets were not. I got the Wagyu ribeye ($58) and it was not good. It was edible but no better than any chain steakhouse steak, very tough. My wife ordered the chateaubriand and it was good but not amazing. All in all I wouldn’t say I regret going but probably will try another restaurant for our next special occasion.

Great restaurant in Pt Clear, near the Grand Hotel. Wonderful food and service.

Had heard good things, but was disappointed. Steaks not done to order. Fish was mushy and tasteless. Creme brûlée was awful. Server started off with good service but it went down as time passed. It took the server 3 times to get the check right. Won't go back.

On September 19th we went to the Wash House to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary. We should have gotten a clue when they tried to change our time of arrival and also the waitress tried to hurry us along by telling us they were about to be slammed. She was right. In about 15 minutes, 20 to 30 very loud people came in a group. All were very rude and loud. We could not even talk above the noise. I would have appreciated being told before I made the reservations. My anniversary dinner was ruined. I will not be back. By the way, this was a usual dinner out for us when in town. No respect from management to allow this kind of treatment.

Loved the wagyu ribeye and key lime bread pudding but it was a little noisy in the dining room as it was packed. Definitely worth going to for dinner though. Great service! !

The staff was friendly and eager to help, the food is yummy, they play nice music to go with the theme, and the ambiance is good. We totally enjoyed the food. Will definitely visit there again.

The best steak I have ever tasted. (I've tasted a lot of steaks)The wife and I came for our 5th anniversary, we got the special for the night which was the Wagyu ribeye, with roasted broccoli and truffle fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with their homemade NY style cheesecake. Absolutely amazing.We will be back any time we are in the area or passing through, please try this place - you will not be disappointed.

This restuarant was highly recommended by many friends. The night we went, the service was terrible- could have just been a bad night, but everything took forever, and they forgot to bring our app before dinner. The food wasn't very good either. The pork chop was far too sweet and came out seared on the outside and raw inside. We had an appetizer that was delicious- I think it was a roll (it has been a while.) I'll probably give them another try at some point, but I experienced a bad 1st impression.

Their Key Lime Bread Pudding is hands down the best dessert I've ever had in Fairhope. I would never have thought to combine bread pudding and key lime but it was divine and definitely unique. I ordered 20 pieces for dessert on a sunset dinner cruise on the Schooner Joshua and it was a hit with everybody as well. (Sorry I forgot to take a pic of it)

Celebrated our 37th Anniversary - first time dining here. Food and atmosphere were top notch! The Keylime Bread Pudding was a surprise treat to end a perfect meal!! Repeat trip is definitely in the future!

We split the Shrimp Stack appetizer, the large Wash House Salad, and the Filet. They kindly plated the split on two plates for us. The food was good. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect and intimate.

Ordered the Chateaubriand and it came out ice cold. Then it seemed to be reheated under a heat lamp. Would have expected the general manager to deliver the 'corrected' dish and to apologise. The manager did not. Spend the high $$$ at your own risk.

Excellent fine dining experience. The structure is historic and dishes will likely become that way as well. Everything is superior. We have been many times and have never had a bad meal, bad service, or even a bad side item. The drinks are creative and the quality of the food is top notch. This not a place to go if you worried about the cost but no complaints here.

Nice place. We.had blackened grouper and barbeque shrimp and both enjoyed. The wedge salad was good and the key lime bread pudding was really good as dessert. Waiter was nice and got job done. Easy walk from the grand hotel along the beach
